Tooth Attack

Otto's mommy left out a couple of Otto's developmental milestones. Did anyone notice the large forehead gash in our Christmas picture? It has finally healed and was originally caused by running straight into a corner in pursuit of his best friend Owen (you'll git 'em next time, Otto).

The other finding I'd like to point out are the two small, linear poke-holes under his bottom lip. These are also a unique milestone, the first full-thickness injury. Otto was apparently staring out the window over a low windowsill and slipped, hit is head and then rocked forward such that his lower lip had two front teeth travel from inside to out. Kerry was stuck at home in the snow, and after some wonderful email photos we elected to treat him conservatively at home.

He looks great already!

I suppose like father like son, I had received stitches 5 times in my face before I was a teen. Lets hope we can slow this down. ;)
